Argue for or against: should councils publish an AI decision log for every public service?

Residents are meeting automated tools in benefits, housing, planning and school support. A useful log would explain where AI is used, what data it reads, who reviews the result and how residents can appeal. The strongest comments should separate transparency, cost, privacy and the practical burden on council teams.
