TKBA Juniors show composure in Surbiton

TKBA Juniors drew attention for their calm approach, technical ability and respectful conduct throughout the event. Many of the young Tottenham fighters were entering an external sparring environment for the first time, making the day a useful test of how they handled pressure away from familiar training sessions.

According to the source report, the juniors competed with confidence and determination despite their limited experience at this level. Their movement, discipline and willingness to engage were noted by coaches and spectators.

The junior team was led by instructors Clayre Bennett and Es Francis, whose preparation was credited with helping the young athletes settle into the demands of the event.

The adult TKBA team was led by Eddie Dujon, the former undefeated World Kickboxing Association British champion and chief instructor of TKBA Adults. Team TKBA also recorded a series of winning performances while representing Tottenham.

A wider test beyond club training

The International Freestyle Sparring Network event gave Tottenham Kickboxing Association members a chance to face opponents from outside their own club, a setting that can build ring confidence, timing and decision-making.

For local families following youth sport in Tottenham, the result points to a growing pathway for young martial artists who want competition experience in a structured environment. Further information on TKBA Juniors is available through Instagram accounts @tkba_juniors and @clayre_kickbox4.
