Kėdainiai District Municipality has announced the upcoming registration period for its flagship youth employment initiative, the “Summer for Improvement” (Vasara – tobulėjimui) program. Designed to bridge the gap between education and the professional world, the scheme provides subsidized work placements for students during the peak summer months of July and August 2026.

The program is specifically tailored for young people aged 14 to 21 who meet the following residency and educational requirements:

* Must be currently enrolled in a general education or vocational training institution located within the municipality.

The registration window is strictly set from May 1 to May 31, 2026. The application process requires a joint effort between the student and the prospective employer:
* Joint Application: The young person and the employer must fill out the registration form together.
* Consent Forms: Students must provide consent for data processing. For those under 16, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is mandatory.
